Award winning, British-born director, Dave Sims, has been making films since age 11. He followed his lifelong passion of becoming a filmmaker by attending the London Film School (LFS) in the mid-nineties. During his time at the LFS he worked in key positions on over 100 short films, many of which went on to film festivals around the world, including Berlin, Munich, Manchester and Camera Image, Poland.

After film school Dave moved to Johannesburg to develop original television programming and documentaries for the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC). Since returning stateside Dave has shot and edited four feature films, two short films and over 50 commercials airing nationally and internationally, as well as original television programming and several thousand web videos.

Dave is the co-founder of Astrobleme Films in San Antonio, Texas. Recent projects include a social justice documentary feature, Voices of the United Farm Worker Movement in Texas, chronicling the history of farm worker activism in Texas and The Law of Human Gravity, a feature film he wrote, produced, directed and edited.

Crissy is a force of nature. Prior to producing Cavern, Crissy worked in the worlds of academia, activism and fundraising. During this time, Crissy produced the feature documentary Voices of the United Farm Worker Movement in Texas, which follows the struggles and successes of the grassroots movement in Texas.

Crissy is the co-founder of Astrobleme Films and looks forward to producing a music-focused documentary as her next project.

Erica Rudolph is a largely self-taught powerhouse of design talent from Boerne, Texas. She brings her skills in web design, graphic design, and UX/UI to the DS Media Team. When she’s not working tirelessly to deliver projects to clients, Erica enjoys escaping the city a few times a month to visit family and see all the animals at the family ranch in Center Point. Erica is colorful and bold just like the design work she delivers to clients. From her love of the outdoors to her impressive vintage camera collection, Erica finds inspiration for her inspired design from the organic to the macabre. Her love of dark humor, crime shows and the psychological tales of serial killers will ensure that you’ll find her curled up on her couch with her ball python Poe and pup Ruger on a Saturday night watching American Horror Story or Criminal Minds while snacking on her family’s homemade venison jerky.
